Overview
Welcome to Module • What images, symbols, or words resonate with your sense of self? As you look
through magazines or other materials, what catches your eye? What images or words
feel like they represent a part of who you are, your values, your past, or your
aspirations?
• How do different parts of your identity come together to form a whole? Consider
your various roles (e.g., parent, professional, friend, artist), your different passions, and
even conflicting emotions. How do these pieces coexist within you?
• Can you create a visual narrative that tells a story about who you are, or who you
are becoming? What story do you want to tell about yourself? Is it a story of resilience,
transformation, joy, or quiet strength? How can you convey this visually without using
traditional words?
• What does it feel like to select, tear, and arrange these fragments? Pay attention to
the physical act of creating. Does it feel liberating to cut away what doesn't fit?

Activity: "Identity Mosaic"
Objective: To create a collage using various materials to represent different aspects of your
identity, past experiences, dreams, and aspirations, focusing on how these pieces fit
together to form your unique self. This is an exercise in visual storytelling and self-
integration.
